Just visited again. $27+ for (a burrito + 1 taco)?! Great for those who can afford it. I can't. Unfortunately, Mission 19 Taquería is now dropped from my annual (eat local) vacation meal rotation.

Came on a whim, not from the area and knowing nothing about this place. It was busy which seemed like a good sign. Menu boards were very hard to read since they offer so much (tiny print) so we both just ordered supreme taco plates, chips and salsa and some drinks. ($50!) Food did take a really long time (25-30 min+) so we were glad we had those chips, but totally worth it as we both thought our meals were excellent. Loved the grilled veggies on them. Place is tiny as many have said. My only suggestion would be to move the salsa bar away from where the order line piles up; it's difficult to get in and out without crowding others. Layout in general could be "optimized" to allow for more patrons to sit inside and out, but otherwise we would eat there again if visiting! Yum.

Probably one of the best Mexican food I've had! I loved the shrimp super quesadilla. Very flavorful and the sauce has just the perfect amount of "kick". Hubby enjoyed the fish tacos. We were told that everything was made fresh upon ordering and our food definitely tasted fresh!! No complimentary chips here though; we weren't offered any and we didn't see any. The place is clean and pretty new. It has a good amount of tables so you can bring your friends and family along! They also have a few outdoor tables and chairs for a nice, sunny day lunch! I'm sure we'll come back for more!

We were able to find a couple tables on a Wednesday around noon. We ordered at the counter and took a seat. I tried a bunch of different items. The chile relleno was in a spicy red sauce, one of the best I've ever had. Carne asada was delicious. Shrimp tacos were amazing. Tried a quesaburra burrito. It was just a burrito. It was good, though. There was a salsa bar, and every single salsa was amazing. I will definitely come back as, for some odd reason, good Mexican food is hard to find. Definitely get the homemade corn tortillas!

Mission 19 is located at the corner of Lighthouse and Hoffman. Parking can be tricky and you may need to park a few streets away depending on the day. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the bright and cheerful decor. There are several seating options inside and just a couple located outside. Ordering takes place at the front register and the food is taken to your table. There is a self serve salsa bar (yay)! One thing I found a bit odd was the menu had no drink options so I was unsure if they sold agua fresca or anything other than the soda machine located in the dinning area. I did ask and ended up ordering an Horchata which was delicious. Just a recommendation, add drink options and prices to the menu. I ordered the regular bowl which included: rice, beans, choice of meat, cheese, fresh guacamole, pico, sour cream, onions & cilantro ($12.99). My food was delicious and service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend this spot to anyone in the area and I'm excited to come back and try some tacos.
